As the Society enters a strategic planning process — and in recognition of the challenges of conducting fieldwork during the COVID-19 pandemic — we have decided to pause most of our grantmaking opportunities following the October 21 deadline. The deadline is the first working day of February. Last year, NEEF provided nearly $700,000 in grants and awards to educational (both formal and informal) and public land partners across the country. Professional Development Grants (PDGs) provide support for mid-career conservationists to pursue short-term, non-degree training to upgrade their knowledge and skills.
